Caucus holds two webinars for legislators on preventing introduction, spread of invasive species

Thanks to all of you who joined us for the first two installments in our Great Lakes, Great Webinars series. Our first webinar, held in December, explored state and federal ballast water regulations as well as treatment technologies designed to stop the introduction and spread of invasives species via ships traveling the Great Lakes. Our second webinar, held in February, focused on studies examining ways to stop the spread of invasives between the Great Lakes and Mississippi River watersheds.

Our next webinar will be held in March and will focus on key federal activity with regard to the Great Lakes, including future funding of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. For more information, please contact Lisa Janairo or Tim Anderson or call the CSG Midwest office at 630.925.1922.
