Great Lakes policy workshops were held in two state capitals soon after legislatures convened for the new year.

Held in Lansing and St. Paul, the in-state workshops in Michigan and Minnesota gave legislators the chance to learn about the importance of the Great Lakes and discuss key issues in protection and restoration. The workshops featured presentations by Great Lakes experts as well as discussions among participating legislators on how to better protect the lakes in their state.
